Chad Caillet (pronounced ki-YAY) broke into the coaching ranks right out of college where he notably served as head coach at Meridian Community College in 2005, assistant coach at Southeastern Louisiana University (2006-2007), and Southern Miss in 2007 where he spent 12 seasons on the Golden Eagles staff as the recruiting coordinator. In November of 2016, D1baseball.com named him Conference USA’s top recruiting coordinator. He had two Top 25 recruiting classes in the nation and placed Southern Miss on the map as a baseball city. Caillet then joined Texas A&M staff in the 2020 season and helped recruit Texas A&M’s 2021 class, which was ranked #11 in the country. After a brief stint in College Station, Caillet joined the South Carolina staff as the recruiting coordinator in 2022 where he saw instant success. Now at 2D Sports, Chad oversees all aspects associated with the High School Baseball including the My Recruiting Coach Program.
